This post describes the DVB Finder and Zoom Signal firmware information originally shared below. The article uses both 1506VT and 1506TV naming, so verify the complete identifier printed on your receiver board and shown in its information screen. Do not treat these names, or 1506HV, as proof of interchangeable firmware.
Does a 4 MB file fit every 1506 receiver?
No. Flash size is only one requirement. Match the board revision, hardware identifier, remote-control type and supplier file requirements as well. The original table below lists 1506tv-V1-OTP-SO; it is not confirmation for every 1506HV board.
What if the receiver shows No Match?
Stop and recheck the exact hardware and firmware requirements. Do not force an update or change identifiers merely to make an incompatible file pass. Ask the firmware supplier to confirm the correct file for your receiver.
